What is Pelicoin?

Pelicoin is a functional utility tokens (“Process Coin” thereafter) and may also develop into a reserve coin in the future. It is used to operate smart contracts for use in the natural resources sector and will also be gradually developed to with asset backing of these natural resources.

Pelicoin is blockchain compliant crypto created for activating and operating the smart contracts used in our unique blockchain sourcing platform (“Smart Contact(s)”or “Platform”) for natural resources.

The Platform is unique because it is the first of its kind (B2B) to match buyers and sellers (of natural resources) and execute the trade by the use of Smart Contracts.

The use of our blockchain enabled matching platform as well as the Smart Contracts will largely enhance the speed and success rates of the relevant trades. In addition, there are also a number of other benefits:

Smart Contract

Pelicoin will be used exclusively in the operation of the Smart Contracts and each Smart Contract shall have a transaction value.

To finance the maintenance and the infrastructure of Pelicoin and the Platform and the matching service of them, the parties to the Smart Contract will need to pay a 2% development fee on the transaction value, to the Platform, with each party paying half of that, i.e., 1%.

And such 2% fee will be paid in the form of Pelicoins, and only Pelicoins could be used to perform various blockchain based verification for the parties and the transaction, as well as to initiate a Smart Contract in our Platform.
